The Ukrainian International Institute of Restoration was established in 2023 as an extraterritorial, non-profit professional organization coordinating expert, scientific and project support in territorial development, spatial planning, infrastructure transformation and the restoration of Ukraine.
UIIR is a non-profit organization under the current legislation of Ukraine and does not aim to generate profit.
The Institute operates as a platform for professional cooperation between the scientific community, practitioners, communities, local self-government bodies, specialized institutions and international partners.
UIIR includes the following specialized centers:

The highest governing body of UIIR is the General Meeting of authorized representatives of local self-government bodies — members of the Association.

Between meetings of the General Meeting, UIIR is managed by the UIIR Board, which makes decisions on all matters of the Institute’s statutory activity that do not fall within the exclusive competence of the General Meeting.

The Ukrainian International Institute of Restoration brings together researchers, architects, engineers, analysts, representatives of local self-government and international partners to provide professional support to territorial communities, prepare strategic solutions and deliver projects focused on modernization, development and transformation across Ukraine.
UIIR creates an environment for interdisciplinary cooperation where expertise, science, project-based methods and practical experience come together to build long-term solutions for territorial and infrastructure development.

UIIR is developing as a professional expert platform that enables cooperation between communities, local self-government bodies, specialized institutions, the scientific community, international partners and investors for integrated territorial development projects.
The Institute is building a professional support system for communities in strategic planning, spatial development, infrastructure modernization, architecture and engineering.
UIIR is preparing territorial development and transformation projects today, creating a foundation for the long-term implementation of strategic initiatives in the future.
